The Adelaide Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) is an accelerated 482/494 pathway for regional employers. This guide explains who qualifies, what occupations are eligible, and how aged care & disability businesses use it.

What is a DAMA?

DAMAs are five-year regional migration agreements between the federal government and state/territory DAMA-approved authorities. They allow regional employers to access 482 (Skills in Demand) and 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional) visas for occupations that wouldn’t normally be on the federal Skilled Occupation List, with concessions on age, English, salary or experience.
